Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 1:30 A.M. at an intersection on Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya.

They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike on the road. Nearby, they found a man lying on the pavement who was unconscious and identified as the motorbike rider. The injured man, who wasn’t identified, was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

The damaged sedan driver Mr. Kittichai Kongnanoi, 31, was uninjured and waiting for police at the scene.

Kittichai told TPN reporters, “I was passing through a traffic light at a green light. Two motorbikes ran through the red light and I crashed into one of them. I had been following all road rules and did nothing wrong.”
