‘Restaurant’ manager arrested for allegedly breaking Covid-19 rules in Pattaya

Pattaya –

Pattaya Police arrested a “restaurant” manager/owner in Pattaya for allegedly breaking Covid-19 rules and allegedly selling alcohol without a permit.

The Pattaya City Police today (March 26th) reports that raids were led by the Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Kunlachart Kunlachai.

They reported they arrested a restaurant manager / owner. However, his name and venue was not given to TPN media.

He was taken to the Pattaya Police station to face charges of allegedly selling alcohol without a permit, opening a venue without a permit and breaking the Chonburi Disease Control Orders.

Entertainment venues, including bars, pubs, nightclubs, gogos, karaoke lounges, and other similar businesses, remain legally closed until further notice.

Only modified restaurants with the proper certifications that are approved by the authorities are allowed to operate. Alcohol is allowed to be served until 11:00 PM.
