Pattaya Ruamjai mayoral candidate visits beach vendors around Pattaya beach to hear tourism suggestions

Pattaya-

Today, March 26th, around noon, at the Pattaya Beach, the mayoral candidate Mr. Sinchai Watthanasathon from the Pattaya Ruamjai team went to meet with various beach vendors to ask for their opinions or petitions about what they want to happen in terms of tourism in the city.

One vendor, according to local media, stated that he is struggling from the economic downturn because of a lack of tourists, and most tourists only come to the beach in the evening because the weather is too hot, so he would like the involved authorities to expand the opening time for beach bed vendors beyond 7 p.m.

Furthermore, he also wants the new mayor to improve the landscape of the beach and all basic necessities such as a public restroom and a parking space to accommodate tourists who come to the beach. Having more shade and trees was a top concern.

Mr. Sinchai said to the media that the main concern at this moment is the “living issues” which have been heavily affected by the lack of tourists. The solution, however, still lies in the hands of the Thai government to relax certain Covid-19 restrictions.

Promises were made that all matters raised by the vendors today will be carefully considered in the future, stated Mr. Sinchai Watthanasathon, the mayoral candidate from the Pattaya Ruamjai team.
