Yesterday, the Pattaya mayor Sonthaya Khunplume, on his last official day as mayor, assigned his secretary to preside over a meeting to follow up on the electrical system development project at the front of Pattaya Central Pattana Mall.

On March 24th, at the Pattaya City Hall, Mr. Worapot Pongphalee, the mayor’s secretary, presided over a meeting to follow up on the first phase update of the electrical system development project at the front of Pattaya Central Mall with many officials attending.

The meeting concluded on the preparation for the construction of an underground electrical cable project at the front of Pattaya Central Mall, the electrical distribution system which will be in service at the mall’s front to Pattaya Sai 3 Road, and the permission request for the construction of the underground electrical cable around South Pattaya Rd.

However, there are quite a few other ongoing matters that must be handled first in order for the above-mentioned project to commence such as the pavement and manholes at the front of Pattaya Central Mall. These matters, according to the official’s estimation, will be completed in May, in time for a newly appointed mayor in May’s election on May 22nd.

Lastly, on April 5th, there will be an operation to remove old communication wires at Lan Pho Na Kluea Market to the Government Savings Bank.
