Pattaya-
The Deputy Mayor of Pattaya went on an operation Thursday, March 17th, 2022, to rearrange and remove old communication wires (approximately 5.3 kilometers in length) that hang from Dolphin Roundabout to well into the Na Kluea sub-district on the Second Road area.
The operation was attended by Mr. Bunlue Kullawanich, the Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, and numerous relevant authorities such as the Pattaya Provincial Electricity Authority and National Telecom Public Company Limited who had previously participated in rearranging and removing communication wires in the Pattaya and Koh Larn areas.
This operation was, in fact, a follow-up of the nine projects that have taken place and been active since 2020 to move communication cables underground across Pattaya. According to the official estimation, all projects will be completed at the end of the next year (2023).
As for the operation’s details, 15 kilometers of the unused and old wires had been replaced in 2020, 29 kilometers in 2021, and in the present year (2022) 49 kilometers of wires are expected to be replaced. From January to February this year, the operation covered Koh Larn and Bang Lamung district and as of yesterday, March 17th, 2022, the operation began at the southern side of Dolphin Roundabout and came to an end at the Na Kluea subdistrict, covering about 5.3 kilometers, and it will reoccur again at the beginning of April 2022 after a careful traffic plan is made to facilitate drivers and prevent accidents.
