Chonburi-

Yesterday, the 18th of March 2022, Mr. Poomphat Kamolnat, the Pattaya Mayor’s secretary, along with his entourage, went to the Eastern railway to check on a major road drainage system construction project.

The project began on September 26th, 2021, and is anticipated to finish on August 17th, 2022 (600 days in total) with a budget of 621,000,000 Baht.

Mr. Poomphat commented that a lot of progress has been made in regards to the project and once finished, there will be a retention pond built to collect water from the Soi Khao Noi alley to prevent the South Pattaya Highway Police Station area from being flooded. The pond will also be useful for the local residents as fishing will be allowed, stated the Pattaya Mayor’s secretary.

Poomphat said the mayor’s office was pleased with the progress and that the project was currently on schedule, just in time for rainy season in September and October.
