Three motorbikes stolen in Soi Khao Talo area in two days, police warn the public to be alert

Banglamung –

Three motorbikes have been stolen in one week on or around Soi Khao Talo in the Pattaya area, and this is only the most recent incident with several others reported in recent weeks in the same area.

Three people spoke with TPN media this week alone with CCTV footage showing the incidents.

Mr. Narong Chinnawong, 58, a pork seller, told TPN media, “I had just bought this motorbike 20 days ago. I parked the motorbike in front of my rental room in Soi Khao Talo 12 on March 13th before my motorbike disappeared.”

Mr. Sompop Boonserm, 41, a security guard, told TPN reporters, “I parked my motorbike in front of my home in Soi Khao Talo 10 on March 14th before my motorbike disappeared overnight.”

Mr. Arwut Pama, 37, also reported to TPN, “I parked my motorbike in front of my home in Soi Khao Talo 10 before my motorbike had disappeared on March 14th.”

Some CCTV footage appears to show that there were several male suspects who came into the parking areas of each incident before easily and quickly stealing the motorbikes and speeding away.

All three victims have filed reports to the Nongprue Police. The Nongprue Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to hunt for suspects, but have admitted motorbike theft in this area has become a problem and that an organized gang of motorbike thieves may be responsible. They are asking local residents in the Soi Khao Talo area to be aware and lock their bikes and secure them properly.

Many motorbikes have been stolen in Soi Khao Talo this month. None of the suspects have been arrested.
