Pattaya Beach Tennis Open to take place this weekend, March 18th-20th

  Yesterday, (15th March 2022) at the Surf Kitchen Restaurant on Jomtien Beach, the Pattaya mayor Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem appointed Mr. Worapot Pongphalee to participate in a preparation meeting for the Pattaya Beach Tennis Open 2022.

The Director of the Office of Tourism and Sports Mr. Surat Thepchaito also attended the meeting to discuss the contest.

Pattaya City, in the name of the Office of Tourism and Sports, has scheduled the Pattaya Beach Tennis Open 2022 between 18th to 20th March 2022 at the aquatic sports area near Soi 5 on Jomtien Beach, Pattaya.

The event has many objectives including providing opportunities for the youth beach tennis athletes and ordinary people to pave their way to becoming national athletes, standardizing beach tennis in Pattaya, promoting the city image as the “Sports City”, and finally supporting sports tourism. As of yesterday, the meeting concluded on the preparation for facilities, utilities, security, and Covid-19 protective measures that will be used during the competition.

Admission will be free, although Covid-19 precautions will be in effect and masks will be mandatory for spectators, even though it is an outdoor event.
