Animal Army releases update on confirmed rabies cases in the Sattahip area

NEW RABIES RED ZONE ALERT!
Wat Amparam, Na Chom Thian
The Department of Livestock and Development has confirmed a new positive rabies case near Wat Amparam. The dog was owned and not vaccinated, it was found deceased and autopsy testing revealed a positive result.
Please be aware there is now a 5km high-risk red zone from the Wat Amparam area, until 25/03/22.
RABIES ALERTS

In response to this confirmed case, teams have deployed to vaccinate dogs in the high risk area. A mass sterilisation and vaccination campaign will be held on 24/03/22 by Provincial DLD with assistance from Animal Army troops.
Please report any animal displaying the following symptoms:
erratic behaviour
excessive drooling
not eating
unusual air biting
disorientated staggering
Do not approach. Please film the animal from a safe distance, pin location and call 085 093 5954 or message their page.
