Four people have sustained injuries, three of them severe injuries, including a pregnant woman and a high school girl, after a two motorbike collision in Mueang Chonburi.
Emergency responders were notified of the accident on Sukhumvit Road at a U-turn in the Nong Maidang sub-district yesterday, March 11th, 2022 in the mid-afternoon.
They arrived at the scene to find four injured people in total. Three of them had sustained severe injuries which were a pregnant woman, a high school girl wearing a school uniform, and a 20-year-old- woman. All three were riding on the same motorbike. They were taken to a local hospital for urgent medical assistance.
Nearby, the first response teams found a damaged motorbike and a 400 CC bike. The rider of the 400CC bike, whose name was not provided and sustained no injuries other than some minor scrapes, told first responders that the smaller motorbike immediately made a turn in front of him. He was unable to avoid the collision.
However, Mueang Chonburi police are checking CCTV footage to find the exact cause of the accident to determine liability and if any charges will be filed.
