Police searching for a motorbike driver who went viral on social media for popping wheelies on Bang Saen Beach

Bang Saen –

Police are searching for an unidentified motorbike driver who along with his passenger was popping wheelies on Bang Saen Beach, which was recorded on video and went viral on social media earlier this week.

A warning sign from the Saen Suk Municipality sits on Bang Saen Beach and reads, “Motorbikes and cars are not allowed to drive on Bang Saen Beach. Anyone who violates this rule will be fined up to 2,000 baht.”

Videos of a motorbike driver who along with his passenger was seen popping wheelies on the Bang Saen Bach at night went viral on social media yesterday (March 8th).

The Sane Suk Police Chief Colonel Pattana Robroo told local reporters, “Normally, we always patrol near the beach area at night. However we did not see these suspects popping wheelies on the beach until videos went viral on social media.”

“We are checking CCTV footage nearby to hunt for the driver for further legal action,” Pattana concluded.

As of press time, the videos had amassed thousands of views on Thai social media.
