Annual Temple fair is currently running in the Pattaya area until March 9th

Banglamung –

A major annual temple fair in Banglamung is now running until March 9th, 2022.

The nine-night fair is being held at Suttawas Temple in Nongprue from  March 1st to March 9th, 2022. Click HERE for directions.

Many Buddhists have visited the fair in the temple to worship Buddha images and make merit all night under strict Covid-19 measurements.

However, the fair also has many traditional Thai activities and games, food, drinks, shows, carnival games, attractions, and shopping attracting many local residents and domestic tourists as one of the largest temple fairs run in some time due to Covid-19. Admission is free.

The event was given special permission to be held, even as the bigger music festival was “postponed” due to Covid-19 cases remaining high locally. Masks are required, even outside, temperature checks and hand sanitizer checkpoints are also in place.
