An intoxicated bag snatcher has been arrested in Pattaya and was found passed out drunk by law enforcement following the crime.
The Pattaya City Police yesterday morning (March 2nd) reported they have arrested the suspect, a Thai male national, whose name and age were not released.
The Pattaya City Police said the suspect was driving a motorbike around (intoxicated) before snatching a bag from a Thai domestic tourist in front of Underwater World Pattaya.
Police tracked down the suspect from CCTV footage nearby that led them to his residence where they found the intoxicated suspect passed out drunk behind his home. With some effort, they managed to wake the man for a trip to the local police station on Soi 9. The photo on the cover of this article was taken by Pattaya Police as they attempted to rouse the man.
The suspect allegedly admitted to police he snatched the bag and stated he was “just drunk”. He was taken to the Pattaya City Police Station for further legal action.
