Bangkok –

The mother of a deceased Thai actress, Panida Sirayutthayothin, brought more evidence to police officers today, February 28th, as she believed that her daughter Nida “DTangmo” (Watermelon in English) Patcharaveerapong was being harassed on the speedboat where she lost her life.

Panida told reporters that she brought an article published on social media and Dtangmo’s two mobile phones to the police as evidence and a lead for investigation as she still was suspicious about the death and personally believed that her daughter was harassed until falling off the speedboat. She also did not believe Dtangmo’s friend’s statement on a TV program which said that Dtangmo fell off the boat and drowned while attempting to urinate on the speedboat.

The mother said she would continue to collect more evidence and details that could lead to what she hoped was the real truth. She also planned to check the footage of a dashboard camera from a car that Dtangmo’s manager “Kratib” drove and parked at the back of Dtangmo’s house.

When being asked if she had seen interviews of Dtangmo’s friends who joined the speedboat trip on TV, Panida said that she had not and did not know what exactly they were talking about on the program. She revealed that she never received any messages from her friends on the boat until the day the actress’s body was found but she has not checked them yet.

Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner General Prachuap Wongsuk of the Royal Thai police had led the Nonthaburi police to reexamine the “Cobalt” speedboat which the actress, her manager, and her friends went for a trip on the night of the incident.

A second inspection was conducted to search for clues and possible answers to all questions that were raised by society. If found, the evidence must be proven by forensic science and must be explained with probable cause.

The Royal Thai Police are reportedly planning to use lie detectors, which is rare for Thailand, to officially interview those on the boat with the actress.
