38-year man falls over six meters through a school roof in Sri Racha, surviving with serious injuries

A 38-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after falling through an auditorium roof at a school in the Sri Racha district.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at a school in the Bang Phra sub-distract yesterday (February 22nd.)

The first response teams arrived at the auditorium inside the school to find the injured man, Mr. Kritsana Chaikaew, 38. He had suffered a serious skull fracture and was bleeding heavily but cognizant and calm. He was rushed to a local hospital, where emergency responders were set to bring him into emergency surgery.

His colleague said the two men were roofers for a living and were changing the tiles on the roof of the auditorium. Mr. Kritsana stepped on a broken piece of roofing by accident, plunging through and falling over 6 meters below onto the cement floor. No children were present at the time of the tragic accident and teachers called for emergency services.
