Thai snooker player Mink wins 2022 World Women’s Snooker Championship in England on Monday

Thai snooker player Nutcharut ‘Mink’ Wongharuthai has won the 2022 World Women’s Snooker Championship in Sheffield, England.

22-year-old Mink, who was supported by the Hi-End Snooker Club in Bangkok, had led Wendy Jans in the last frame before beating the Belgian player with 6-5 on the final black at Ding Junhui Snooker Academy on Monday, February 14th.

She had scored 51-40, 38-72, 60-46, 4-84, 44-69, 32-71, 67-39, 15-74, 69-18, 81-13, and 65-53 in the final round after defeating semi-finalists Reanne Evans from the United Kingdom and Hong Kong snooker star Ng On Yee.

This is her first win in the championship after she was the first runner-up in the last duel in 2019.
