Mr. Pranchai, 30, a pedestrian, had sustained leg injuries during the incident, believing he was “clipped” by Nayramit. He told police, “While I was using a crosswalk, an unknown vehicle clipped me, knocking me down.”

A witness, identified as Mr. Surachet, a local food seller, told Mueang Chonburi police, “There were about four motorbikes which were driving at high speed before I heard a sound like an explosion.”

A friend of Nayramit told Mueang Chonburi police that there were four people, including Nayramit, riding together when the accident occurred. According to the friend, a white sedan immediately changed lanes. Mr. Nayramit tried to avoid the collision but crashed into a power pole instead.
