Two suspected firearms presumably used in killing foreigner in Phuket found at Friendship Beach, local police report

Phuket –

Two suspected firearms that were presumably used for killing an Indian-Canadian national at a Phuket villa were found on Friendship Beach in the Rawai subdistrict of Mueang Phuket district this morning, February 10th.

The forensic unit, along with the EOD and provincial police officers, arrived at the beach located about 100 meters from the scene to search for more evidence with metal scanners and police dogs.

Two guns were reportedly found floating in the sea 20 meters from the beach. However, it has not been officially confirmed whether the weapons belonged to the wanted suspects or not.

According to the initial investigation, one of the firearms were identified as a Walter PPK and another was a CZ pistol. Both were legally registered under the two Thai names. The police then would call them for questioning in further steps for more leads.
