Two alleged drug dealers in Chonburi reportedly arrested with 17,000 methamphetamine pills

Chonburi –

A male and a female suspect have been reportedly arrested with 17,000 methamphetamine pills in the Phan Thong district earlier this week.

A team from the Chonburi Provincial Police has arrested Mr. Rittikrai Dokjan, 33, and Ms. Pattaraphon Sangemjit, 26, in the Nong Hong sub-district, Phan Thong.

Seized from them were 17,000 methamphetamine pills. The cost of the drugs is worth more than a million baht, according to Chonburi police. Both suspects are facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.

The two suspects reportedly admitted to police that the increasing cost of living “made them do this. They added that they primarily sold the drugs to workers and teenagers.
