Bangkok –

A Thai national caused a chaotic scene in the heart of Bangkok by bringing out snakes and threatening to cause self-harm in the middle of the Ratchaprasong intersection yesterday, February 1st.

The man, who apparently goes by “K Hundred Million”, was seen parking a red Mercedes on the road in front of CentralWorld before dropping yellow flowers and releasing about 2-3 snakes on the road. He then started carrying a large blade and threatened to harm himself, causing distress and public panic for people nearby.

According to the police investigation, the suspect is a billionaire and had previously performed the exact same incident at the exact same location in April 2019. His outrageous actions were recorded and widely shared on social media with many comments. He was arrested and taken for legal proceedings.

K was later delivered to a local hospital for a physical checkup and first aid before being taken to a Bangkok police station to acknowledge charges of carrying weapons in a public place without a reasonable cause, obstructing traffic, and violating cleanliness of traffic under the Traffic Act.

K did not release an immediate statement around why he performed his actions.
