51-year-old man dies while making a U-turn on his motorbike in Chonburi

Chonburi –

A 51-year-old motorbike rider has been pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike collided with a pickup truck during a U-turn in the Phan Thong district yesterday (January 31st).

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Boonying Sirijunto, 51, lying on the road. Nearby, they found the damaged motorbike and the pickup truck.

The pickup truck driver, Mr. Nattara Sangngern, 22, told rescue workers, “I was driving at about 90 kilometers per hour. The motorbike was making a U-turn. I tried to slow down my pickup truck and avoid the collision but failed.”

Phan Thong police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action.
