Pattaya –
The SOS Club and Friends in Thailand gave free meals and dried food to disabled people and the needy in Pattaya over the past weekend!
Members from the SOS Club and Friends in Thailand on Sunday (January 23rd) gave away for free 150 sets of meals and dried food for disabled people and the needy in Soi Panead Chang 8, Nongprue.
Many disabled people live in rented rooms in the Soi. Most of them are unable to work and have been suffering during the Covid -19 situation due to a lack of opportunities in the Pattaya area driven by months of Covid-19 related restrictions, closures, and the essential shuttering of the tourism and nightlife industry until recently. Many of their relatives and those they depend on for income had become unemployed during the Covid-19 crisis, leading to a domino effect in terms of an impact on living expenses.
Michael Wearnor from the SOS Club and Friends Thailand told TPN media, “We are retired soldiers who live in Thailand. We are helping our communities in Pattaya and people around the world.”
Thank you to the SOS Club and Friends for their support right here in Pattaya!
