Man reportedly stabs his girlfriend to death for allegedly cheating on him before trying to kill himself in Banglamung

Banglamung –

A man reportedly stabbed his girlfriend to death before trying to kill himself in Banglamung last night (January 16th).

The Nongprue Police were notified of the incident at 11:00 P.M. at a house in Nongprue. Police, emergency responders, and the Pattaya News arrived at the house to find the body of Ms. Apinya Sirijanda, 39. Five stab wounds were found on her body in total according to rescue workers at the scene.

Mr. Teerasak Nakprem, 29, who had sustained severe injuries from what appeared to be a self-inflicted knife wound, was found nearby.  A kitchen knife and beer bottles were found on the floor of the room.

Ms. Noi, last name not given, 48, who is a relative of Mr. Teerasak told TPN media, “Mr. Teerasak told me his girlfriend had a secret relationship with another man and he had found out. He called me to tell me he had slain his girlfriend for cheating on him and was preparing to take his own life and wanted to tell me goodbye. I immediately called law enforcement and rescue workers and rushed to his home myself. We arrived to find him severely injured, but alive. Tragically, his girlfriend had already passed away.”

Teerasak was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to recover from his wounds. Banglamung police plan to take him into custody where he will face legal charges for the death of his girlfriend following his recovery. He remains under police guard and suicide watch at a Banglamung medical facility while recovering.
