Thailand-
The following is our weekly feature in which we ask our readers a news topical question and get their insight and opinions. We then share their feedback a week later and pick a variety of diverse and interesting responses.
This week, we want to ask our readers the following question, inspired by intense discussions on our social media over the past few days as “Omicron” continues to impact the Pattaya area and arguments and discussions take place on social media between people over their thoughts about the situation.
We want to ask: Have you had Covid-19 personally? What was the experience like for you?
Some context for this question:
Many people’s Covid-19 experiences seem to differ, based on a variety of factors. We would like to hear from our readers who wish to share their experiences. Also, some sub-questions if it applies:
-If you had it in Thailand, did you have to go to a quarantine center? What was this experience like?
-When did you have it? Did you have any idea of the variant?
-What were your symptoms like? How long did they last?
-Did you face any bias, stigmatization, or factors relating to having Covid that has nothing to do with symptoms?
-If comfortable, adding in vaccination status, age, health conditions can help give a better picture.
We will keep full names private for this feedback.
We look forward to hearing from you! Tell us on our social media channels, in the comments below, or if you prefer your comment to be private mail us at Pattayanewseditor@gmail.com. We will publish the results and select a variety of diverse responses early next week, as always!
