A Magical Christmas Party held in Pattaya – Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard

Pattaya, Thailand-

The 10th Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard’s Christmas Party proved again to be a delightful Christmas celebration and a great success both for the organizers and for the 170 guests.

As the guests arrived, many firstly posed for photos then proceeded to their assigned tables in the beautifully decorated Ballroom of the Siam Bayshore hotel. Happy to be able to be meeting again the greetings and selfies were soon in full swing.

Promptly at 18:00 the guests were asked to take their tables and RCES President, Martin Cooke gave his short welcome speech explaining the extreme challenges of organizing this year’s event, thanking the guests for their patience and attendance.

The start of the evening was the arrival of Santa Clause and the adorable choir of the Child Protection and Development Centre (CPDC) took to the stage and sang their hearts out. How so many kids could remember so many carols in English was a testimony to the love and care that they receive in the home.

Having thanked the amazing children it was time to eat, and the sumptuous buffet was opened. As always, the Siam Bayshore Hotel excelled in the presentation and preparation of a perfect Christmas buffet that included every favorite dish including Smoked Salmon, Somtam, Roasted Turkey, Honey Ham, Brussel Sprouts, Christmas Pudding, Mince Pies, and much, much more.

The wine flowed and then it was time for the wonderful Kelly Ford and the amazing Barcode Band to entertain. Incredible entertainment with the dance floor full on their second number.

A pause was made for the grand Raffle with a variety of great prizes, many supported by local businesses.

The music continued, the laughter increased, friendships were renewed and all had a wonderful time enveloped in the Christmas Spirit.

Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard would like to thank all who attended, the incredible Board, the wonderful CPDC kids, and the amazing team at the Siam Bayshore Hotel. The raffle sponsors included The Gems Mining Pool Villas, Mays Restaurant, The Pantry and alone raised more than 80,000 and final details on the total proceeds will be announced shortly.
