Banglamung –
An unidentified driver has sustained injuries after his pickup truck plunged into a noodle restaurant and a wall this morning (December 21st) in Banglamung, part of the Pattaya area.
The Banglamung Police was notified of the accident near a noodle restaurant just before dawn that was getting ready to open on Chaiyaphon Vithi Road opposite the Mahachon Market.
Police, first responders, and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged silver pickup truck pierced into a wall. The noodle shop outside was totally destroyed.
Witnesses told The Pattaya News that at about 5:00 A.M. the pickup truck driver lost control before crashing into the noodle shop and through a stone wall. The male driver, aged about 40 years old, shouted for help to local residents nearby who called emergency services and was brought for medical attention. He was unidentified.
The noodle shop staff, who were nearby but had not yet begun opening their shop for breakfast, were not injured, although were reportedly going to seek compensation for the damages to their property from the driver.
Banglamung police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action and did not immediately state their thoughts around any circumstances that may have led to the crash.
