Two new deaths
The Chonburi Department of Public Health announced 172 new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 today with two new deaths, December 15th.
This makes a total of 110,005 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of infections, with 1,764 people still under medical care/supervision, and with a total of 782 recorded deaths in Chonburi since the start of this recent round of infections in early April.
The district-level new cases were as follows today:
Mueang Chonburi 18, Si Racha 48, Banglamung (Pattaya) 55, Panat Nikhom 4, Sattahip 5, Ban Bueng 6, Phan Thong 13, Nong Yai 2, and 21 people transferred from other provinces for medical care.
The details on the cases are as follows:
- Work and stayed in Rayong, transferred from other provinces for medical care, 17 cases
- Cluster, Siam Compressor Industries company in Si Racha, 3 cases
- Cluster Meyer Industries company in Si Racha, 2 cases
- Risky occupations meeting many people, 3 cases
- 1 medical personnel
- Back from other provinces in Rayong – 3 cases and Bangkok – 1 case
- Close contacts from previously confirmed cases in families – 51 cases, in workplaces – 29 cases, close personal contacts – 3 case, and joined a party – 3 cases
- Close contact of a confirmed patient (under investigation), 19 cases
- 34 cases close contacts of a confirmed patient (under investigation)
