Geminids meteor shower visible for naked eyes in Thailand after midnight on Monday (Tonight)

The National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) invites stargazers to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Geminids meteor shower from Monday night, December 13th.

The meteor shower will be visible from midnight of December 13th to the dawn of December 14th. However, the shower is expected to be disturbed by moonlight until about 1:30 AM. Stargazers are advised to fully enjoy the celestial event after 2:00 AM., according to NARIT’s official Facebook page.

The Geminid meteor shower occurs annually between December 4th and the 17th. People nationwide would be able to see the Gemini constellation with a maximum fall rate of 150 meteors per hour in the sky with the naked eye.
