Pattaya –

Pattaya City and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are going to hold the “Thailand Tourism with SHA” event on Pattaya Beach from December 17th to December 19th.

SHA stands for Safety and Health Administration, which is a certification given for businesses that meet standards primarily designed to stop the spread of Covid-19. There is also a + ranking, mainly based on the overall vaccination status of the staff of a business.

A meeting was held this week and was led by the Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Wuttisak Ruemkitkan and the Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya Office Deputy Director Mr. Pairat Sukngam.

Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Wuttisak told TPN media, “The Thailand Tourism with SHA event will be held from December 17th to December 19th, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on the Pattaya Beach under Covid -19 measurements.”

“The event is aimed to boost traveling and tourism with hygienic safety under ‘Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA)’ standards. Local operators will also earn more income. It is also aimed at raising public awareness of the SHA program.”

“The event will have many different zones such as SHA products, tourism routes, cuisine from famous hotel chefs and local chefs, local products, cultural demonstrations, and concerts,” Wuttisak concluded.
