Si Racha –

Two drivers have escaped injuries after a pickup truck collision between two vehicles in Si Racha.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 8:00 P.M. over this weekend at a curve on Khao She – Yang En Road in the Nong Kham sub-district.

The first response teams arrived at the scene to find two damaged pickup trucks. One was on the road while the second pickup truck was off the road in a forest nearby.

One pickup truck driver, Mr. Napaphong Nokkaew, 32, from Songkhla, told the associated Thai press, “I was not used to this road. I lost control at the curve before crashing into the other pickup truck and into the forest. I am very pleased that neither the other driver nor myself were injured in this accident.”

Law enforcement officers did not immediately release a statement on any potential legal charges surrounding the accident. Mr. Napaphong reportedly took responsibility for the incident, according to his statement.
