Five districts in Chiang Mai allow alcohol sales and drinks in qualified restaurants

Chiang Mai, Thailand –

The Chiang Mai Governor has released new orders through their Public Relations Facebook page yesterday afternoon (December 4th). Alcohol sales and drinks will be allowed in five tourism model districts in Chiang Mai.

The Chiang Mai Disease Control committee has agreed to allow five districts which are Mueang Chiang Mai, Jomthong, Doi Tao, Mae Rim, and Mae Taeng districts to allow alcohol sales and drinks inside restaurants from December 6th, 2021 onwards.

Alcohol sales will be allowed from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.

Entertainment venues, nightclubs, bars, and soapies remain closed.
