The Chonburi Department of Public Health announced 177 new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 today with no new deaths, December 3rd.
This makes a total of 108,153 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of infections, with 2,099 people still under medical care/supervision, and with a total of 762 recorded deaths in Chonburi since the start of this recent round of infections in early April.
The district-level new cases were as follows today:
Mueang Chonburi 35, Si Racha 47, Banglamung (Pattaya) 73, Panat Nikhom 2, Sattahip 2, Ban Bueng 4, Phan Thong 3, soldiers in Sattahip 7, and 4 people transferred from other provinces for medical care.
The details on the cases are as follows:
- Cluster, soldiers in Sattahip, 7 cases
- Work and stayed in Rayong, transferred from other provinces for medical care, 8 cases
- Cluster, SMAT Thailand company in Si Racha, 4 cases
- Risky occupations meeting many people, 4 cases
- 4 medical personnel
- Back from other provinces in Buriram – 1 case and Sisaket – 1 case
- Close contacts from previously confirmed cases in families – 55 cases, in workplaces – 26 cases, close friends – 8 cases and joined parties – 3 cases
- Close contact of a confirmed patient (under investigation), 5 cases
- 51 close contacts of a confirmed patient (under investigation)
