Chonburi will NOT hold any in-person Children’s Day 2022 activities due to Covid, but New Year’s, music festivals to continue in Pattaya

Chonburi –

Chonburi will not hold any in-person Children’s Day 2022 activities next year.

The Chonburi Public Relations Office made the announcement this morning (November 29th). The Chonburi Educational Office will not hold any in-person Children’s Day activities 2022 in January next year.

They stated that even though the number of Covid -19 new and confirmed cases in Chonburi has continued to decrease, prevention measurements have to be continued. Additionally, children under twelve are still not eligible for a Covid-19 vaccine in Thailand.

TPN media notes, however, that much larger festivals welcoming thousands of people weekly will still take place in Pattaya versus a festival designed to celebrate and recognize children while providing them a fun-filled day.
