Si Racha –

A massive fire overnight has destroyed a huge warehouse for the second time in only two months in Si Racha.

First, a video of the fire can be seen here:

Firefighters were notified of the fire yesterday morning before dawn (November 25th) at a recycling warehouse in the Nong Kham sub-district.

Fire fighting teams arrived at the scene with ten fire engines to find the fire was already heavily ablaze. The fire was finally put under control after many hours of water spraying. There were no reports of injuries from the blaze, however, many forklifts and other machinery stored in the facility were a total loss.

The same warehouse had reportedly had another fire just two months before, although that blaze was less severe in terms of damages according to Si Racha firefighters. This particular blaze caused significant damage to both the building and the contents within, according to firefighters.

The total cost of damages is still being estimated while fire officials will reportedly inspect the damaged site today to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
