Rotary Club of Pattaya holds last major meeting before big Rotary Peace Concert for charity on December 3rd

Pattaya, Thailand-

  The Rotary Club of Pattaya held its last major bi-weekly meeting before a major Rotary Peace Concert for charity scheduled for December 3rd, 2021, at Royal Cliff in the Grand Ballroom.

The meeting was held at Royal Cliff as well on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, at 6:30 PM with almost 30 people attending which included the induction of three brand new members and several guests from the Sattahip Rotary Club.

The three new members inducted were Martina Antoinette Jalleh, Mikkel Lysgaard, and Wachirawan “Ona” Sawanont, seen below, 2nd left to far right. Far left is Rotary Club of Pattaya President Mr. Niels Colov.

The meeting also featured a brief speech from the visiting members of the Sattahip Rotary Club, seen below.

The bulk of the meeting focused on the final preparation and announcements for the upcoming Rotary Peace Concert. The majority of this article will be dedicated to information about the Peace Concert as members solidified the final plans for the major event.

About the Rotary Peace Concert

  The concert will include a 3-course set menu gala dinner and will be held at the “Head of State Chamber” ballroom at the Grand Building on the 2nd floor of the Royal Cliff in Pattaya.

  The concert and dinner will start registration and fellowship at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 3rd, and the actual event will run from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Tickets per person will be 1,750 baht on the night, but available for a discount NOW. Advance ticket sales promotion is 1,500 baht per person, including the 3-course set menu gala dinner, but not including beverages.

The program will include: Sixties acoustic hippie period music from a variety of artists, presentation of prizes to the winner and runners up of the ‘Peace Painting Competition’, A charity raffle with great prizes, a ‘Best dressed Hippies competition’, the President’s thank you speech and presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to sponsors and performers.

Also features a ‘Beatlemania concert’ and live bands/DJ.
