Si Racha –

A food delivery rider has been pronounced dead at the scene after the motorbike he was riding was run over by a garbage truck in Si Racha on Sunday (November 14th).

The Borwin Police was notified of the accident at the entrance of a waste disposal plant in the Laem Chabang Municipality.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of a food delivery driver who was later identified as Supot Keangkhuntot, 30. Nearby, first responders found his damaged motorbike and a garbage truck owned by a private company.

The garbage truck driver, Mr. Rawee Thongsu, 49, was waiting for police at the scene, uninjured. He stated to the press and law enforcement, “I was coming out from the plant. The motorbike driver stopped immediately in front of me for no apparent reason and I was unable to stop my vehicle in time.”

At this stage, Borwin police stated that Supot bounced under the truck driven by Rawee before he was run over, which killed him instantly.

Borwin Police took Rawee to the nearest police station for a further interview and possible legal charges relating to the accident.
