Jomtien beach renovation continues with new dredger ship, says Pattaya City Hall

The long-planned Jomtien beach renovation has continued after a new dredger ship has arrived on the beach, according to Pattaya City Hall officials.

A major Jomtien beach renovation project has been paused in the beginning of October.

The new dredger ship arrived in the beach area and continued to work earlier this week (November 4th).

Company staffers told associated Thai press that the new dredger ship can do work faster and more efficient than the previous one. The dredger ship is working seven days a week, according to City Hall.

The beach expansion is now 400 meter complete in the first phase. The second phase which was already started is now at a distance of 100 meters down Jomtien Beach road near Na Jomtien. The total work for the Jomtien beach expansion is now at 500 meters, according to Pattaya City Hall.
