Motorbike owner in Phan Thong warns public about motorbike theft after leaving key in ignition by accident overnight

Phan Thong –

A motorbike owner has warned the public to be careful after his motorbike, with the key left in the ignition, parked inside his accommodation in the Phan Thong district, was stolen.

Mr. Supreechakan Kamsakunwong, 24, the motorbike owner, told The Pattaya News, “I parked my motorbike in my garage area before going to bed in my rental room located behind the garage on Sunday (October 24th). In the morning, when I woke up to go to work, my motorbike was gone.”

The CCTV video footage is here:

“CCTV footage from the garage shows what appears to be a male thief aged around thirty wearing a neon pink shirt walking into the garage casually before driving my motorbike away. I had left the key in the ignition of the motorbike by accident, but had not expected anyone to wander into the private area and try to steal private property.” Supreechakan stated.

“I have filed a report to the Phan Thong police with the CCTV footage as evidence.” The victim stated.

“I learned a valuable lesson today and want everyone else to learn from my mistakes. We all need to make sure that we have locked our motorbikes securely and taken out the key, even if we parked the motorbike inside our private accommodation.” Supreechakan concluded.

Phan Thong police, meanwhile, stated that the CCTV evidence provided by the victim would help their investigation and hopefully bring the suspect to justice.
