Pan Thong –

An intoxicated driver has sustained injuries after he crashed his motorbike into three vehicles in Phan Thong.

The Phan Thong Police were notified of the accident Sunday (October 24th) at 4:00 P.M. in front of a market on Phan Thong – Baan Gao Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a damaged motorbike on the road. The intoxicated driver, Mr. Pipoppat Chimboon, 39, had sustained head injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.

Pipoppat told police, “I was heading back home from my friend’s house after drinking. I blacked out and did not realize that I crashed into a parked motorbike and cars on the side of the road. I might have had a little too much to drink but I didn’t think I was drunk.”

However, police are continuing their investigation and conducting an alcohol blood test on the motorbike driver for further legal action.
