Thai Vietjet awarded ‘Excellence in Crisis Management and Recovery’

(Bangkok, October 12, 2021) – At the HR Excellence Awards Virtual Ceremony 2021 hosted in Singapore on October 8th evening, 2021, Thai Vietjet was named the Gold winner of the HR Excellence Awards 2021 (Thailand) for ‘Excellence in Crisis Management Recovery’, highlighting its outstanding performance in crisis and people management throughout the pandemic.

In addition, the carrier also advanced as one of the finalists in the category of Excellence in Employer Branding, delivering a clear, compelling, meaningful, and well-established brand that consistently attracts talents for the company.

HR Excellence Awards – the region’s most sought-after and prestigious HR program by Human Resources Online, aims to honor distinguished organizations within Thailand, with exceptional employee management programs and robust human capital strategy planning. The categories cover HR functions ranging from recruitment, employee engagement, leadership development, retention, and more.

The awards were judged by a panel of top HR leaders and are organized under strict and transparent rules, and are fully independent. This year, the panel included senior HR professionals from brands such as Baker Hughes, Central Group, CIMB Thai Bank, DKSH, Foodpanda Thailand, Hanesbrands Inc, HP Thailand, PANDORA productions Thailand, SVI, and more. More than 150 companies went on the final list this year.

As the winner and finalist in the 2 categories, respectively, Thai Vietjet has proven its impressive accomplishment in business development and people management during the crisis of COVID-19.
