National –

A number of 4 million doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines has arrived in Thailand yesterday morning, September 12th, Chulabhorn Royal Academy reported online.

This is the ninth lot of China’s Sinopharm vaccines to be distributed in the country, marking an accumulative number of 15 million doses of the vaccine since the first allocation on June 20th.

According to the plan, the vaccines will be gradually delivered distributed to organizations, juristic persons, and hospitals that have applied for the third phase of Sinopharm’s allocation as specified by Chulabhorn Royal Academy. Some of these are likely to go to Chonburi, notes TPN media. This is because Chonburi, specifically Pattaya, has privately purchased thousands of doses of the vaccine to accelerate its own vaccination program, and you can read more by clicking right here.
