Chonburi new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 rise to 991 with 9 deaths

The Chonburi Department of Public Health announced 991 new and confirmed cases of Covid-19 today with 9 new deaths, September 11th.

Additionally, 981 people were also released and recovered yesterday in Chonburi. 58,480 people in total have now been released from medical care and recovered in Chonburi since this current wave of Covid-19 began.

This makes a total of 72,556 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of infections, with 13,580 people still under medical care/supervision, and with a total of 496 recorded deaths in Chonburi since the start of this recent round of infections in early April. The details on yesterday’s 9 new deaths were not given, which is standard for the health department.

The district-level new cases were as follows today:

Mueang Chonburi 206, Si Racha 232, Banglamung (Pattaya) 180, Panat Nikhom 64, Sattahip 49, Ban Bueang 101, Pan Thong 76, ฺBor Thong 11, Ko Chan 10, Koh Sichang 2, and 60 transferred from other provinces for medical care.

  2. Cluster, CSSG in Pan Thong, 16 cases
  3. Cluster, IDA Industrial in Pan Thong, 6 cases
  4. Cluster, rental rooms in Moo 16 Nong Heang, Panat Nikhom, 18 cases
  5. Cluster, Casual Home (Thailand) company in Ban Bueng, 13 cases
  6. Cluster, Chonburi Concrete Production company in Mueang Chonburi, 5 cases
  7. Cluster, Baan & Beyond in Banglamung, 5 cases
  8. Meyer Industries company in Si Racha, 4 cases
  9. A risky occupation, meeting a lot of people, 25 cases
  10. 3 medical staff
  11. Many establishments in Rayong Province brought to Chonburi for medical care, 32 cases
  12. Back from a risky area in Bangkok – 1 case, Chachoengsao – 1 case and Samut Prakan – 1 case
  13. Close contacts of confirmed patients in the family – 290 cases, in workplaces – 186 cases, close friends – 21 cases and joined parties, 8 cases
  14. Close contacts of confirmed patients (under investigation), 139 cases
  15. 213 cases are under investigation in general as to the cause of the disease

A total of 1,018 close contact searches were received today, and 358 proactive search reports are pending.

There are currently clusters of outbreaks in 65 establishments and five markets, 10 construction worker camps, and four communities.
