Local residents help the needy in Jomtien

Jomtien/Pattaya

On Wednesday, September 1st last week, local residents of Pattaya and Jomtien came together to help the needy in the area.

Due to Covid-19 and months of restrictions and mandated closures on businesses, as well as a lack of tourism both domestic and foreign, many residents have found themselves in a tight financial situation or out of work entirely.

Thankfully, many other residents have come together to help those in need. During this particular event Peter J. Ern, Khun Daky, and friends assisted those in need.

They provided special packages for 400 people in need with supplies such as fish, soup, and ice.

Children also got special gifts and ice cream and everyone who attended got a state lottery ticket for good luck!
