Si Racha –

A male staff member at a Si Racha coffee shop has sustained serious injuries after being attacked by two men at a coffee shop in Si Racha yesterday.

CCTV footage obtained by The Pattaya News appears to show two men attacking a staff member at a coffee shop in the Si Racha District yesterday, August 30th, 2021. The incident happened during working hours with other staff present.

The injured man was identified as Mr. Songchaiphon Donchai, 23, from Chiang Rai. He is now at a local hospital for medical assistance.

Songchaiphon told The Pattaya News, “The incident happened yesterday (August 30th) afternoon at a coffee shop at a PTT gas station opposite Maryvit School on Borwin – Nongkhwae in the Borwin sub-district.”

“One of the two men is the boyfriend of a female staff member at our coffee shop. I believe the incident was jealousy-related, although she and I only work together.” Songchaiphon stated to reporters.

The name of the female staff member was withheld. Songchaiphon also stated that all the staff at the coffee shop were in a LINE group together and the suspect had allegedly infiltrated the group and threatened his life previously.
