Hello out there to Pattaya News Readers.
We wanted to take a moment to address a popular question that has been coming in daily through our various contact channels. We addressed this question on social media previously but did not directly write about it an article. As many of our readers don’t use Facebook, Twitter, or other social media tools we wanted to ensure we addressed this to our whole community directly.
For the past several months we have translated daily timelines for Chonburi around Covid-19, showing where those who tested positive had worked, visited, or resided.
These were released by the Chonburi Department of Public Health/Disease Control and shared by the Chonburi Public Relations team daily. These were released only in the Thai language and our own team translated them to English every day.
They were quite popular with our readers and well-read daily.
Unfortunately, about a week ago, Chonburi abruptly discontinued the timelines. They have also not released official statements as to why or have responded to inquiries from our team regarding the reason. It appears they made an internal decision to discontinue the timelines and was on their end, not our own. If they return, we will continue translating them (and other important documents) for our valued readers.
We hope you, and those you love, are staying safe during this difficult time.
Adam and the whole TPN team.
