Pattaya –

Eligible groups of foreigners who live in Pattaya received Pfizer vaccines this week as a gradual rollout continues in the Chonburi province, although many continue to criticize the overall plan and speed.

The vaccine campaign today (August 23rd) was conducted at Central Festival Pattaya Beach by the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. This had taken place actively for over a week currently.

Foreigners who live in Thailand have registered to receive Pfizer Covid – 19 vaccines via Thailandintervac.com for foreigners who are aged more than 60 years old or have chronic health problems and via Thailandintervac.com/expatriates for other foreigners such as businessmen, investors and holding an Elite Visa. Some had also registered previously at https://expatvac.consular.go.th/ and had been eligible.

TPN media notes the vaccination session was NOT a walk-in or open to everyone and still had strict conditions, primarily focusing on the elderly, vulnerable, and those with work permits. There is no “general” walk-in program currently for everyone, although officials state that those registering through expatvac will eventually get an appointment, without giving an exact date.

There were more than 800 foreigners who have registered and received the Pfizer Covid -19 vaccine recently, according to organizers.

This vaccine campaign is being conducted from Monday to Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.

Again, it is NOT A WALK-IN PROGRAM and only those pre-registered who have been contacted can get a vaccine. We are being clear on this due to continued messages and e-mails. You must register at one of the above options and get a mail before going.
