Chonburi –

The Chonburi Governor has issued an announcement for the reopening of banks and financial institutions in community malls yesterday (August 18th).

The order was announced by the Chonburi Public Relations social media pages yesterday (August 18th). The order concluded, “The Chonburi Communicable Disease Control Committee has approved the reopening of banks and financial institutions in community malls or other similar places and is allowed to open until 8:00 P.M.”

“The order takes effect yesterday (August 18th) until further notice. The orders, in Thai, are below.”

This followed similar orders and permission given by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, in Bangkok earlier this week. The malls overall remain closed due to Covid-19 precautions save for supermarkets, vaccination centers, restaurants for delivery (not take-away), and now banks.
