Chonburi –

A former female deputy school director was found deceased, having nearly been decapitated, in front of a house in Panat Nikhom yesterday, according to Panat Nikhom law enforcement. Police are hunting for the suspect(s) who allegedly murdered the woman.

The Panat Nikhom Police were notified of the incident yesterday (August 3rd) at a house in the Thanya Thani housing estate in Rai Lak Thong.

Police and emergency responders arrived in front of the house to find the body of Ms. Jantanee Santitammakorn, 61, who is a former deputy school director in Panat Nikhom.

According to the police report, she was bleeding heavily from severe slash wounds to her neck, having been nearly decapitated by an unknown suspect(s).

Her husband, whose name was not given by law enforcement citing an ongoing investigation, told Panat Nikhom police that Ms. Jantanee stayed at home alone when he went out of the house to run errands.

According to her husband, while he was out running errands he attempted to call her on his phone but she didn’t answer, which he stated was unusual. He came back home and found her injured and bleeding heavily in a bathroom of the home. He carried her out from the house to bring her to the hospital but she passed away before he could do so. Shortly after, he called emergency services to assist.

Panat Nikhom police stated the home has multiple CCTV cameras, but they were all unfortunately broken.

A representative from the Panat Nikhom police stated to the press that the investigation was still ongoing as of press time, including further interviews with the woman’s husband.
