Chonburi Governor orders more Covid-19 related closures: A worker camp, construction site, and company

The Chonburi Governor, Phakkhrathon Thianchai, has announced tonight (August 3rd) the temporary closure of a work camp in Banglamung, a construction site in Si Racha, and a company in Mueang Chonburi.

The order was posted by the Chonburi Public Relations office tonight. The orders conclude, “Many Covid -19 confirmed cases were being found at a worker camp, construction sites, and local companies.”

“In order to control the spread of the virus, the Chonburi communicable disease committee has ordered the following temporary closure of the following places below.”

“1. State Construction Co., Ltd. worker’s camp in Banglamung and their main construction site at Kimball Electronics Co., Ltd in Laem Chabang, Thung Sukhala, Si Racha from August 3rd to August 30th.”

  1. “A & C Thai Co.,Ltd, in Na Pa, Mueang Chonburi from August 4th to August 17th.”

Any necessary reasons to enter or exit the worker camp must have permission from a Chonburi Public Health Official. Owners and operators must strictly follow the orders.
