Driver seriously injured in Chonburi pickup truck crash during mandatory curfew time

Pan Thong, Chonburi –

A driver has sustained serious injuries after crashing his pickup truck into a bridge during curfew time last night (July 23rd).

The Pan Thong Police were notified of the accident at 11:30 P.M. on Pan Thong – Rong Na Road in Pan Thong.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck plunged into a bridge.

Mr. Nattaphon Joomwong, 35, who had sustained serious injuries, was stuck inside the cab. It took about 30 minutes for rescue workers to free him from the pickup truck. He was rushed to a local hospital.

No witnesses were found at the scene. However police are investigating if Mr. Nattaphon had a permission document to prove that he was allowed outside his accommodation during curfew time.
